    Where is best to Golf in South Kerry?

    We have three of the best golf links in Ireland right on our doorstep. The Waterville Golf Links is a very popular golfing destination that attracts people from all over the world and has been voted the best Golf links in Ireland. Hogs Head is a newly established Golf Club setup in recent years which has become one of the most sought after in the world. Dooks Golf club is another golf course that is only a 15 min drive and is very popular with our guests.

    What would you recommend doing on our stay in Kerry?

    We are lucky to have some of the most spectacular walking and hiking routes in Ireland. If you are looking for things to do in Kerry then look no further. You can start your day off with a walk around the Beentee Loop. This is a distance of 9 kilometres, of a high grade and should take approximately 3-4 hours. Click here to see the map. You could then head over to the Whitestrand beach. This is a large sandy Blue Flag beach located in a designated natural heritage area. On a clear day views of Valentia Island can be seen from the beach. You can then finish it off with a delicious meal at QC’s Seafood Restaurant  after your day exploring the Skellig Coast region.

    How long does it take to drive the Ring of Kerry?

    It is possible to drive round the Ring of Kerry in 3 – 4 hours but if you’ve travelled a long way to see some of Ireland’s most beautiful scenery and visit the historical sites – why rush? Start as early as possible and take a day long tour in the car from Cahersiveen and finish it off with a delicious meal at QC’s Seafood Restaurant in Cahersiveen after your day exploring the Iveragh Penninsula.
