The Skelligs Suite, approximately 90 square metres in size, is both elegant and spacious. Our accommodation by the Skelligs is something that you will never forget. This suite is located on the top floor of the Mews building, which opened in August 2016. Walking through the door, the subtly lit carpeted staircase brings you to the chic living area where the first thing you will notice is a telescope, focused on the detail of the Atlantic coast line and the ruins of Ballycarbery castle. Within the living area, for those of a certain age, there is a Pacman Space Invaders machine that will transport you back to your youth. If your interests are of a more cerebral nature, there is a library of eclectic books for you to immerse yourself in while sitting in the comfortable leather arm chairs. This is all complimented with the Nespresso machine, tea making facilities and mini-fridge. There is the “obligatory” 42-inch HD smart TV and DVD player too.
Descending into the bedroom you are greeted by an antique super king sleigh bed centralised against the panelled wall and exposed beams. To one side is a stylish white backlit roll top bath set on mosaic tiles. To the foot of the sleigh bed is a 50-inch HD Smart TV.
From each and every window in the suite there are stunning views which include Beginish and Valentia Island including Dolus Head to the west and The Daniel O’Connell memorial church, the only church in the world named after a lay person, and the pilgrim’s trail to Cnoc na dTobair to the east.

For all guests, Quinlan & Cooke offer a unique “breakfast in the room” experience, allowing guests to enjoy breakfast in the privacy and comfort of their own room at their own pace. Our breakfast includes a variety of good foods – freshly baked croissants and breads, which are hung on your door whilst you sleep and from your mini-fridge enjoy a selection of organic fruit compotes with natural yogurt, homemade granola, fresh fruit salad, our own famous Quinlan’s smoked salmon, fresh fruit basket, mineral water, organic juices, Nespresso coffee and herbal teas.
